WORDS & IMAGES - 02

The tree-lined avenue,
Begins to fade from view..
Drowning past regrets,
In tea and cigarettes...
But I can’t seem to forget...
When you came along...
Ingenue

Words are from the song " Life in Mono"

MIDNIGHT CONFESSIONS

She rejected me because I wasn’t him…

Cartoon - 02

This cartoon was published during the American invasion to Iraq, like all cartoons I post here it has no comment (maybe with the exception of the word “IRAQ” written on the man’s back), letting the universal language of drawings speak for itself, notice the small hidden knife which act as a symbol for powerlessness and the bitter will to fight to the end, also notice the choice of clothes, the artist drew Iraq wearing a traditional dress and not a military costume as an indication that the people are the ones who are going to face all this alone…

This cartoon was published more than 3 years ago but it is more true and bitter toady than ever..
